American Airlines Soars to New Heights
with Increased Flights to St. Maarten!

American Airlines plans to introduce a third daily flight between Miami (MIA) and St. Maarten, commencing on December 20, 2023, and continuing through June 4, 2024.

Charlotte (CLT) will maintain daily operations during this period, including additional Saturday flights in November, December, February, and March, according to a press release.

Philadelphia (PHL) will also offer Saturday flights in November, December, February, and March.

For the summer season, American Airlines will provide two daily flights starting from June 5, 2024, departing from MIA. This schedule will run concurrently with one daily flight from CLT, featuring extra Saturday flights, and a Saturday-only flight from PHL.

The Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport and Telecommunication (TEATT), Arthur Lambriex, expressed the commitment to enhancing communication and strengthening the partnership between the airline and key stakeholders. He emphasized the goal of ensuring improved airlift, rates, and benefits for both visitors and locals.

José María Giraldo, Managing Director of Operations – Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, highlighted American Airlines’ 44-year commitment to St. Maarten and their enthusiasm for expanding operations throughout the Caribbean, connecting the Friendly Island with US hubs in Miami, Charlotte, and Philadelphia for the upcoming winter season and beyond.
